Our BCBAs make our organization so special! We are also glad to be closed on the weekends too! Our pay has adjusted since 2021 and our Staff Wellness value has helped us encourage a life/work balance for our staff to recognize and prevent burnout. Thank you for your feedback!

Pros

Most staff genuinely care about kids Able to make good friendships with other staff Fun environment

Cons

Employer does not provide adequate pay or benefits to young staff. Mentality seems to be hiring young, inexperienced staff who give their all and then realize they are being taken advantage of and leave for better employment. Very high turnover. Company not given same scrutiny a typical daycare would be and get away with a lot - small children are not given rest time, cleaning practices subpar (as of 2018), staff not trained to care for children-- just trained to run programs. Developmental needs of kids not considered. Kids are pushed much, much harder than neurotypical peers.

We love the care, friendships and fun environment we foster here at Children's Autism Center as well! Thank you for providing feedback. We have been able to add many pay incentive opportunities, guarantee 40 hours, pay 70% of medical benefits and add additional benefits since 2021. We encourage you to take a look into the organization's values, mission and client/staff care. https://childrensautismcenter.org/who-we-are/our-values/
