Pros

Food! Everything about it, the taste, the price, how we got it. Made me proud to be a part of it. Simple concept to run.

Cons

The simplicity does not allow for autonomy. The upper management tells u how to get from point A to point B. Very ghestapo like qualities. People are afraid to take sabbatical leave because they think they will get fired when they return. A real aura of fear and insincerity abounds in Texas. You are not allowed to question otherwise you don't get "it". The "it" is elusive and ever-changing. Politics play a bigger than needed role in every promotion. They are not merit based. Company looks great on paper but is doing a lot of things the wrong way.

Pros

-Good pay - they start you out at 9.50 an hour and give raises based on how long you work there. You get your first raise after just 6 months. -Opportunities for overtime and added hours -Good Hours- I was part time, and usually worked a good 30-35 hours a week. On a good week, when I was asked to cover or do overtime, I would actually clock in over 45 hours. -Discounts- You get a free meal when you work a shift and 50% off when you're off the clock. -Great coworkers -Great customers -Great training process -They encourage your progress and 100% feel that the goal is to get you to management -Never drug tests -No policy against tattoos/piercings

Cons

-Hard f-ing work- physically demanding if you are not young and in good health. You're on your feet the whole time regardless of what position. If you work on the line or on grill, the heat can suck. -You can only use discount at your location. -HARD to get a job there. There are a total of THREE interviews, which I feel is a bit much. They want the best though, so it makes sense.
