Fresh Food, Toxic People

Pros

- Clean conscience, you're making beautiful food in obsessively fresh techniques - Cheerful mentality, even if it's fake, it's nice to work at a place where people appear happy - Some managers are truly motivated to make each store its own collaborative community

Cons

- The promotion process is designed to filter out anyone who isn't insanely power-hungry. - The corporate culture trickles down about as far as the area managers, who are supposedly one step removed from the CEO or whatever. - The personal development journals are a cute analogue to corporate America, but are left empty until a higher-up comes to inspect the store.

Pros

Free lunch, free drinks, tips, good hours.

Cons

Stressful, don't get paid a lot for all the hard work. Chipotle hires as fast as they fire. If you don't sell your soul to them, you won't get far.
