Pros

-Amazing food philosophy -Lots of fun (when you have enough people) -Promotes from within -Everything is pretty much figured out for you as far as admin duties, you just need to follow them -Company is growing so fast there are so many open positions -VEGAS conference!

Cons

-60+ hours a week if you are lucky, and when you are home it is still not over -No work/life balance unless you are a crew member -Minimal feedback and seldom praise once you are salary -No training or solid structure for running your own restaurant, you basically "learn as you go" -Many changes to procedures for flighty reasons which is labeled "empowerment" -Path of communication from upper to lower management is foggy -Big push for "Restaurateur" but no help to get there with removing low performers and recruiting the right people--just a lot of concentration on minute details that are not the concern yet

Pros

easy, straight forward, flexible hours, fun staff, cool to learn about the company, wasn't minimum wage!

Cons

too much pressure to move customers quickly in line but hard to not seem rude when doing so

Pros

Chipotle tastes amazing and you get a free meal when you work.

Cons

The wages are way too low for the amount of manual labor required. They have a psuedostructure in place to offer those a way to progress in the company but it is a lot of work for a .50 to 2 dollar increase in pay. A lot of the workers there are not fluent in English so if you do not speak Spanish you will not be able to communicate with your coworkers effectively or feel like you fit in. I also had something stolen from me from by a fellow coworker while I worked there and the management was hesitant to lay the blame on the staff even though only employees could access the storage room where my item was located. You also have to use your pitiful wages to purchase "shoes for crews" and a company uniform. I was employed in 2010 so things may have changed.
