Pros

Good company to work for. Very big on being eco-friendly if you are into that sort of thing Has the potential to be a fun job

Cons

At some locations they expect really high energy all of the time, even though most locations focus more on eficiency. Conflicting orders from the managers Managers were not very good at calling back

Pros

Chipotle is a very passionate company Great health benefits Great skill training Pay scale was wonderful Food quality is top notch.

Cons

Like any restaurant chain, some managers are amazing, and some are truly awful. Benefits for members of management are slowly being whittled away at all levels, such as biannual bonuses. The expectations of the management are not lowered, thus creating the typical "Why should I work this hard when I get nothing in return?" mentality. Given the high expectations on members on management, I feel that mentality completely acceptable.

Pros

Great food! Great people and customers! I have never felt embarrassed to tell people I would for Chipotle like many other restaurant jobs. Very motivating management and lots of opportunities to grow within the company

Cons

Don't pay people enough - definitely not competitive wages for the high expectations Salaried expectation is 50 hours but pay is based on 40 hours - you make 40k as store manager which is less than comparable places like Potbelly or Panera, yet you have no time for life outide of work HR and support staff are not involved enough with the paper trail that bogs managers down. Too much on the store manager's plate they need to focus on to deal with all the BS paperwork.
