      Pros

      Not high stress. Opportunities can be there for those that seek them out and play the game.

      Cons

      Like high school some days. People who get ahead often do so via favoritism. Not a lot of talent across many areas, but that does allow some to hide and take home a check if they want.

      Pros

      You get to work for an individually owned property, therefore making it a personal experience. (This can be a good or bad thing). For me it was very enjoyable.

      Cons

      Choice Hotels itself does not seem to care about the overall wellbeing of its employees, but instead only for the money they do or do not bring in. There does not appear to be any loyalty within the company.

      Pros

      Loved working with line level co-workers, meeting new people from different cities. Very satisfying helping our guests and seeing them smile.

      Cons

      Ownership offers promises and never follows through. Does not give reviews, raises, promotions. Don't jump to conclusions without investigating first.
