Pros

The best perk is free food. You work inside, free drinks, your kids eat and play free. Pay is decent. You pretty much work on your own with no one around breathing down your neck. Its a good job if you dont need to be babysat to do your work. You are responsible for such a wide variety of things that you do build your resume up pretty quickly(which is why I left).

Cons

The worst part of the job is dealing with the always angry, always ungrateful and always dissatisfied parents and kids of the Chuck E Cheese world. I think any employee would agree with that. Next is the corporate monster that runs every individual aspect of your job. Even though you are there day in and day out, some stranger a thousand miles away tells you what you can and cant do. Good luck firing a bad employee. As long as they dont get caught stealing or just not show up several times youre pretty much stuck with them and they're poor work ethic. I cant say I blame the employees much, youre garanteed minimum wage, little if any raises and forever increasing job responsibilities. You will be called names that youve never even heard before by complete strangers simply because a game took someones twenty five cent token or didnt give them their ticket thats worth a fraction of a penny! Upper management is so cheap and greedy, they want as little people on the clock as possible yet push to raise sales. So you end up with a few overworked, underpaid people dealing with customers that are just itching to call and complain on you so that they can get their free pizza and tokens, who cares that it affects your promotion evaluation, as long as they dont have to pay for their own stuff!!
