Pros

- Free lunch (if you like the food) - Lots of kids (if you like kids) - You get to work with gameroom machines (if you're into that) - You will learn to appreciate every other job you have ever had

Cons

- Insufficient staffing. - Constantly Noisy. - You will work every Friday and Saturday, for 12 hours each day. - You will be on salary and never work less than 48 hours in a week. - It is unlikely your days off will be consecutive. - Management does not care about where you live, and will make no effort to move you to a location closer to your home - Expect dishonesty and deception from management - "People are our greatest asset" is a lie - You will be told many great things to get you to work for them, but once hired, you are dirt and will be treated accordingly.

Pros

Good first job to get basics of job. 50 percent off food items. Free games to play. Good flexible job with schooling.

Cons

No room for improvement in position. Pay is minimum wage, lucky to get a raise, even if promoted to Team 2 (Leader/Trainer) or Opening Coordinator (Pre-Management). Workload consisted isn't worth minimum wage. (Have to be able to multi-task to the extreme, from making pizzas, to running food, answering phones, doing dishes, etc.) When hours are low, you might have to bear a workload for 3 people.

Pros

As a party hostess, you get tips and can meet some really great kids and parents. Management is very approachable, you can ask them anything and they will help you. Great experience in customer service. Very easy to get a job. Some of your co workers are really great people.

Cons

The customers are often time extremely rude, expecting this experience to be perfect. Tips are infrequent after the first month. Politics dominate (at least our store.) The people who don't work hard get the hours, and those who do work hard get their hours cut. Personally, I've had my hours cut to 6 hours roughly each week, which is why I'm finding somewhere new. At peak hours, it is possible to be trapped at the last place you need to be for your job for an hour. If you are in high school, as most are, and the ambitious/intellectual type, I would not recommend this job. A lot of your coworkers will be focused on drinking and partying, which can be uncomfortable if you don't drink.
