Pros

So many great things about working for Chuck E. I started at a young age worked hard and always felt appreciated for what i do. There’s an unlimited amount of opportunities to grow. I started off as a cast member 6 months later I was promoted to birthday coordinator about 8 months after manager and continued to build my ladder to eventually giving me my own store and helping out with my relocation it’s been a blessing that I’ve been able to grow within the company and make a job to a career. Fun environment I love the people, love my bosses I’ve gotten the chance to open 8 stores across the us and meet so many amazing people in corporate office or any of our L&D team and they’re truly amazing!

Cons

Every company has its downsides but it’s nothing to fear, it’s a part of the business that’s all! These cons can be understandable at times. I’d say my personal biggest “complaint” is as a GM we have goals and things to push to create more sales which is great!! But theres a ton of new stuff that we constantly have to push a lot of things at once and we primarily only focus on things “temporarily” instead of being consistent. I just very much enjoy consistency if we’re going to push something I’d like everyone to push it but not just temporary. We tend to stop focusing on something randomly because we realize we’re struggling in other areas.. so it’s a constant cycle of “push this!” But wait “we’re doing terrible on this now!” Then we end up stop tracking or pushing the other thing until we start looking at it again . Lastly of course the labor part of it I completely understand the reason for saving labor under guide (for example having to save 20 hours a week) which I don’t complain about but short staffed =underperformance and potentially bad surveys which is unfortunate to deal with as a GM But, working for chuck e is amazing! This is just a simple downside that every job has, this is no need to fear!

Pros

Some pros of working at the CEC in Sherman is that once you’ve been here for a while, everyone seems to know you and the work environment is great especially good for people with a good sense of humor.

Cons

Some cons is that because it’s a smaller store, sometimes hours get short and we don’t always get the hours we want, which isn’t anyone’s fault. It’s just how the business goes.
