Pros

They love dogs and genuinely want to improve the overall well being of animals

Cons

The company is not the same as it used to be, it used to be great, but now they are trying to grow too fast, and the expectations being put on employees are unrealistic. There is NO work/life balance! Employees are now expected to purchase their own "tablets", which are a requirement of the job, but are not provided by the company. The owner has a private jet and clearly is out of touch with the plight of the average american. A tablet may not be a large expense for him, but it is for the rest of us. In addition to the unrealistic expectations, the company has started treating the employees as disposable. No one has job security and everyone is scared.

Pros

Enjoyed the travel and seeing places I would not normally see. Loved talking and selling pet products. Getting ww

Cons

Managers should be more up front when with you, should say how the day went face to face not hide behind a phone. To tell us to take notes on what we could sell in on the next visit, when we had a notebook in hand doing already what was being talked about. Maybe should get off the phone and pay attention to your employee and what they are doing.

Pros

I work with retail managers, employees, customers and animals as I travel to stores in my city. I complete assignments for various pet vendors at many different pet stores such as PetSmart, Petco and Tractor Supply Company. This job is very flexible and has worked great for me as a single mother to a new baby when I started. Upper management is very easy to work with and communicates very well. This job is for someone who can complete their job without being micromanaged. You should be a self-starter and enjoy working with many types of people. This is a great job for someone who has a full-time job as well. All work can be completed at night and on weekends during retail hours. I have been here for three years and plan to be here indefinitely. Pay is very competitive and much better than a retail position.

Cons

There is no opportunity to move up in the company unless you work at the corporate office but I knew this upfront. The company has never mislead me about advancement opportunities and this works for my life. This job has no benefits such as health insurance and PTO but this is a part-time job so I didn't expect that.
