Pros

it's an easy job, the people you work with are usually fun, management is usually laid back, free movies, easy to get time off

Cons

hard to get hours most times, stuck in concession at the beginning of employment, lots of competition for management spots

Pros

Exciting fast paced business with an amazing staff and interesting movies to talk about. For someone that loves movies, Cinemark is the best place to work. The job is full of new experiences and personal growth for employees and adds quality real-world experience to a resume.

Cons

Most states have exemptions from the bureau of labor and industries to allow them to never pay overtime to their employees (Oregon for example). They electively choose to pay a overtime on 4 holidays for parts of the day and never to pay overtime when working over 40.

Pros

This is, by far, the easiest job a person can do and still get paid for it. Just stay away from the concession stand. They work those kids harder and give back less than any other place in the building.

Cons

Sometimes there is very little opportunity to grow as a person or to utilize even the slightest bit of knowledge.
