Pros

The job is very fun and exciting. You get to see all of the people in the area and talk to them while they are excited about going to the movie.

Cons

It can be very slow paced some days and if feels like you've been there forever when you really just started work.

Pros

- Free popcorn and drink - 2 free tickets per day mean a cheap date - Nice introduction to the work world - Fast paced job forces you to better yourself - Easy money when you stand podium and direct people to their theatre - pay raises come with employee reviews (usually 25 cents)

Cons

- Some managers berate you in public - Cinemark tries to guilt you when you call in sick (the last time I did it, they said that I hope I enjoy my time off during one of our busiest movies) - Favoritism is rampant (some people get far more hours and special treatment) - Privileges are taken away when too many employees call in for a free movie - Have to work holidays if you want to keep your job - You are treated as expendable
