Pros

Lots of experience in lots of areas. Most people are really nice. You are the golden child as an MT, they put a lot into you so they will do their best to keep you. Going through the MT program sets you up to be very marketable even outside of Cintas after you’re done! So if you take the job, just at least make it through the program before leaving.

Cons

The best way to be promoted is to bit your numbers, drink allllll the corporate kool aid and kiss peoples butts. It doesn’t matter if you are known for being rude and self centered. As long as you hit your goals for a long enough time and tell enough higher ups you want to get promoted, you will. This is why there are a lot of bad managers. Favoritism is a thing - due to COVID they had cuts. Cintas let their true colors out by firing certain people. Those that had friends coming into the job stayed over people just as good. And people who made higher bases due to being brought over from an acquisition got fired even though their counterpart hadn’t been hitting goals for months.

Pros

-You quickly learn about how the company functions a whole -Large company with heavy growth and advancement. -Decent pay and great benefits

Cons

-Definition of drink the koolaid -Super cheesy office atmosphere -They tell you that you won't work more than 50 hours but once you're in they'll work you to 60-70 hours regularly with no overtime compensation. 80% of the work you do is mindless and involves physical labor. They have no concerns for when you start getting muscle pulls. -If you don't kiss the butt of the GM they will start micromanaging you and get in your head to the point where you're constantly paranoid that you are doing something wrong. -HR comes across as someone to help, but ends up taking everything you say and becoming a tattle-tail (to a point where it becomes childish). -Tiny mistakes equal discipline sessions where they make you feel like you're screwing everything up when the reality is that it's not a big deal (even after a 12 hour day of hard work). -THE LARGEST CON: You can see it in the long term employee's eyes that they've sold their souls. They all walk around smiling saying that they love their jobs. But when you get one-on-one with them all they do is talk about how they wish they could've had a better life. -Tell all their employees "this is the best job ever" when in reality they could make a lot more with the effort they put in somewhere else
