Cons
Hours are all over the place. Can't just have the same schedule every week. They will get on you if you even have a minute of overtime. Sometimes you wont even get 40 hours a week. A lot of the time you will have to work alone. If you work third shift you will for sure work alone. Sometimes i have to work alone during the evening and the store gets crazy busy. So when that happens you have to stay on the register for your whole shift instead of doing the kinds of things assistant managers should do. In terms of the company, nobody pays attention to you unless you are a store manager. I have been wanting to become a GM for months and my market manager and the district manager have both brushed me off. I always have somebody getting on me for something i didn't do when we don't have enough people in the store at one time most of the time to really get a lot done.
