Everything has gone virtual, which has isolated many employees who have not met their colleagues in a long time. Telepresence and WebEx are great but people need human interaction. And with the budget cuts, employee morale is at an all time low. They need to bring back the annual sales conference in person, even if it is regional. As long as the company wins awards, the focus is on activity. There are so many people who are only focused on ticking the boxes and not focusing on creativity and innovation. While the PowerPoint states "teamwork and collaboration," the reality is total top down management with command and control management. Leaders are not rotated; they are recycled. There is a need for fresh blood. On some days it's like high school with inner circles and popular crowds. They talk about diversity but take a look at the reality of it, beyond the awards.

there is definitely buracratic at every large company including cisco. some coworkers could be annoying. seems like too many peoplerdoing the same thing.
