      Cisco is young. it is still a good work place but need to improve.

      Pros

      Cisco is the leading company in network. It shows strong leadership and mindset. The traditional competitor is more and more far away. Now Cisco drives innovation proactive in the Web 2.0 world and providing more attractive products and services like Telepresence and Webex, etc. Change is corporate culture. If you are not change yourself, you will be changed by others or out. :)

      Cons

      Salary is not competitive and not increase quite a long time. The compensation plan is not good. Promotion is not easy recognized and sometime you have to stay in same position over years. Human resource dept is not value for staff.

Cisco is the company where th eemployee feels , secured career, appreciation for his efforts, pride to be associated with a team of winners. Cisco grooms you and prepares you to the best of your potential to get ready for more challenging positions where you can work and prove your worth. The management is always supportive at your back, gives you confidence to just go and make wins for the organization. Every employee is treated with respect and high values. this not only elevates your morale but also gives you a reason to proove your exact worth by showing results.
