Pros

Citco offers small office so you can get closer interaction, friendly people, and the job isnt too difficult. Also parking is close by

Cons

The compensation was a little below average, you need to work longer regular hours than you would in a bank and the traffic to get there is horrible.

Pros

Young, friendly office (most people in their late 20s to late 30s), relax atmosphere, very competitive salaries, a lot of nice little perks (free soda/water/juices, beer in the fridge after 5), Hedge Fund related, large product exposure, workflow shifts from intense to almost nothing, allowing for a lot of time for self-improvement projects (studying, learning new product types, etc.)

Cons

Very political, at times it feels as if promotions and recognition are based a lot more on how well you get along with management not the actual amount of work and effort you do, Jersey City is a terrible place, when workflow drops off towards the end of the month it can get really boring.
