Pros

Good People, Laid back atmosphere, great benefits, Senior management communicates continuously, truly global environment, opportunities to work with multiple global teams.

Cons

Bad pay master, epitome of politics and its woes, right hand does not know what left is doing, poor human resource management, they did not even bother to condut an exit interview for me, I was quite senior in my team over in the erstwhile CMB. Inconsistent upper management. several levels / layers of hierarchy. Lowest levels of worker productivity of all the banks.

Pros

Pay is higher compared to other banks in the area. Many locations to choose from in DC Metro Area and flexible management

Cons

No upward mobility available other than to management positions. No ability for freedom of thought. Everything is very regulated and the bottom line isnt considered.

Global opportunities abound and this is a great place to make things happen. If you get them to trust you then you can get far.

Cons

Bureaucratic and slow moving. lack of personal communication with HR and with upper management. loyalty lacking among team members. culture of abuse among the ranks in investment banking
