Pros

well there is still pride in working for this bank being the largest in the world plus all the loans available to some employees.

Cons

not so good in compensating employees probably due to difficulties experienced during the financial melt down. no bonuses! minimal increase.

Pros

Global bulge bracket IB Good to get experience at a junior level Global network able to be leveraged on both a regional and a local basis

Cons

Negativity sentiment towards the brand as a result of GFC Poor management performance at all levels Overly rigid process of reporting through NYC - lack of regional autonomy Promotions based on ability to "brown-nose" rather than any inherent capabilities - in fact often it was the reverse Lots ot pitching, not enough live deals Excessive in-fighting when it came to revenue allocation as it drove end of year comp reviews
