Pros

Big company with a number of internal opportunity; also a company able to trade in large sizes and therefore with the possibility to trade any type of instrument. Mostly friendly attitude and balanced life/work environment.

Cons

A company currently in search of directions, and unclear who is steering it (whether the US government or the CEO). A lot of red tapes and inefficient comunication between the business and the infinitely many IT (sub)systems.

Pros

This is a very diverse bank which can provide great opportunities to in the area of choice. The UK staff are very professional and quite open. Especially if the individual is in the banking side rather than the support functions, it is very good.

Cons

The size of the place makes it a problem for the individual contribution to make a significant impact on the larger scale. The recent problems in the market also make things a bit difficult.
