Morale is gone with the job cuts

Pros

Networking with over 200K employees is nice

Cons

These job layoffs have killed morale. We finish meetings wondering if that’ll be our last. The tenured folks aren’t too worried but know that this job might be their last if they are laid off. These layoffs are expected to continue into 2026 and the only consolation we get as employees is managers saying “keep doing what you’re doing.” Morale is gone and they may lose more people to attrition than to these layoffs.

Culture isn’t Good

Pros

A world-class bank is characterized by its unwavering commitment to excellence in financial services. It goes beyond conventional banking by consistently providing innovative solutions, cutting-edge technology, and exceptional customer service. Such a bank excels in global standards, prioritizing security, efficiency, and customer satisfaction. A world-class bank stays ahead in the dynamic financial landscape, adapting to market trends and ensuring that its services meet the evolving needs of clients on a global scale.

Cons

A company with a poor culture and mean managers can contribute to a toxic work environment. Treating non-US persons condescendingly is not only unprofessional but also creates an unwelcome atmosphere. High stress levels further exacerbate the negative impact on employee well-being. Addressing these issues is crucial for fostering a healthier workplace, improving morale, and ultimately enhancing overall productivity and employee satisfaction. Open communication, empathy, and a commitment to positive leadership are essential in transforming a negative culture into a more inclusive and supportive work environment.

Pros

There are no pros for working here.

Cons

This is the worst and most toxic environment I’ve ever worked. The branch manager and coworkers are not nice. You go home stressed and depressed. Working at this location is not good for your mental health. I much happier now that I’m not working there.
