Pros

Used to be a great bank and company to work for. Separating from RBS will give CFG the opportunity to make itself great if it can focus on real customer satisfaction, employee fairness and teamwork

Cons

Been with the Bank 11 years and it is time to go. Senior Management especially in the Risk organization are clueless to what regulatory compliance means. Bringing in many from the outside who are not invested in the Bank verses focusing on leveraging the talent of current colleagues. Read a post from someone working in No Smithfield which says colleagues need to be ready for change and transformation. This may lead you to believe colleagues aren't. In my experience that is not true. Most colleagues are invested in the Bank's success, work VERY hard and are extremely talented. This is an exciting time for the Bank but can we transform without having dead colleague bodies along the way?

Pros

The hours are great, insurance is decent.

Cons

More and more responsibilitjes are being added to my position as a teller without a reflection in my pay. Ive even been training our new senior teller whos paycheck is larger than mine. Unrealistic sales goals. Micromanaged to the max.
