Great administration, strong focus on student success without diminishing quality of instruction.
Pros
Campus is well-maintained and attractive. Great library that is well-staffed. Friendly and competent security. Strong communication between administration and instructors. Good relationships between deans, full-timers and adjuncts. Strong focus on student success with a dynamic veteran's program. DSP&S is accommodating but still puts lots of emphasis on student responsibility. Use of technology on campus and for students is thoughtful, though not always the most cutting-edge.
Cons
Too much reliance on adjuncts. Hiring process for full-time, tenure-track positions can be sloppy. No COLA in a long, long time (8 years?) Human resources is probably the weakest department that struggles to take responsibility for errors. Childcare center is closed.
