Pros

If you're in to organizations that value group think and cultural over individuality, this is the organization for you! There is everything from a organizational mantras, hand signals, uniforms, and songs.

Cons

Organizational leaders were not always transparent as they should have been with their employees. While transparency was a big thing leaders provided themselves on, it was often hard to get straight answers to questions about budgets for events, programming or professional development.

Pros

It genuinely is life changing. You make a palatable difference in the community you serve, if you really dedicate your time and effort into it. You have to know, and constantly remind yourself why you do what you do, because it gets really, really hard.

Cons

The long hours, the little to no pay, the emotional toll service takes on you, and being treated like a child most of the time.
