Pros
The field staff on job sites are generally a great bunch to work with. Some management actually care about your career growth.
Cons
Upper management tends to be penny pinchers and will disguise more work outside of your role as “opportunities for growth and learning” when really they’re just taking advantage of the cheaper labor. Some job sites have healthier team morale than others - just hope you get stuck with a great team. Be wary of where management asks you to charge your time, otherwise they won’t pay you bonuses on projects you actually worked on for years.
