Pros

Kids and their families that WANT to grow and change to adapt to their kid's special needs, setting your own schedule, co-workers that are so much fun!!!

Cons

Extensive driving for trainings that last all day, management that changes more often than I change myself, paperwork expectations that mysteriously change weekly, lousy pay for a TON of paperwork- (NO pay for ppw time), complications for getting reimbursed for phone and mileage, office staff that are less than helpful

Pros

Great learning experience in behavioral health. The relationship you build with your consumers is awesome. You need alot of compassion. Some. Supervisors are true role models.

Cons

You expendable and you hard work is not acknowledged. They will work you and the more you give they will just take. Advancement is not worth the suspension or possible termination. A dog gets treated better than you do. Great supervisors who sacrifice their life to go above and beyond for the consumers are stomped on and degraded. Truly a disgusting company. If people didn't need a job so bad. The company is an insult and disgrace and uppermanagement is the worse.Shame on them in how they treat their staff. The good employees you treat like nothing the bad employees you keep. This is the only company that I have seen that allows employees to stay after verbally and psychologically abuse the consumer. SHAME ON THIS COMPANY.

Pros

I worked at the Creswell home -- the flexibility of hours is the only positive thing.

Cons

Home for children under 18 was negligent in terms of ISPs protcol for meds, ignored dietary restrictions (no dyes), and were frequently out of milk, bread, and staples to make meals.

Thank you for caring for our clients. Working with autistic children is very rewarding but has it’s challenges, especially when they are non-verbal. I understand your concern and will make sure this information is addressed. But please note, mistakes can always be made and we do expect our employees to help us when it comes to concerns, especially when it is pertaining to negligence. For next time, please notify a manager or someone higher up (if you feel uncomfortable with your current manager), so we can address this quicker.
