      Pros

      Flexible hours. Good benefits package. New incentives for employees. Upper management becoming more involved/concerned with employees. Team work. Genuine care for population served. Opportunity for advancement. The workers and supervisors are great.

      Cons

      Pay could be better (but it is clear the company pays what they can and is upping benefits and incentives), job responsibilities can be overwhelming at times (nearly any helping professional will likely tell you the same about their jobs. It goes with the territory.) Hours can be weird depending on your position (but you arrange your own schedule week to week so planning personal time is generally easy).

      Pros

      I have worked for Renew 6+ years and I hope to be here for years to come. I came in as a CSP and worked my way up the latter. I have met some amazing people, employees and clients that have touched my life in ways unexplainable. I know people think that Renew does not pay their staff well. I disagree!! Renew does pay their staff well and they offer benefits, PTO, life insurance and 401K which are some amazing benefits that costs the company a lot of money. Kathy, Karl, Val, Wendy, Darcee, and Katie along with all the others I work with are some of the most amazing people I have met and they DO CARE!!!!! At the same time Renew is a business; an Organization that continues to grow because state and counties see that they do someone amazing and wonderful things for the individuals they serve. No, not every story is a success story but Renew does have many!! Renew has definitely made me a better person!!

      Not a con but more of a wish. I wish to see individuals more involved in the community!!

      Pros

      Meeting individuals who will impact your life forever. Not just the individuals in services but the people you work next to daily.

      Cons

      I have worked at Renew for over 5 years. Throughout the years I have seen management come and go staff come and go and clients come and go but the one thing that has never changed is the fact that you as an employee of renew Consulting will never be appreciated or respected by anyone higher then a DSP. It is sad to think that people are hired to take care of individuals because they are unable to care for themselves but the administrative team does nothing to ensure that the individuals quality of life is improved. The purpose of DSPs is to help build up the individuals and get them to a place that they could potentially be out on their own with little to no support. Renews motto is “we exist to provide the greatest service possible” what it really means is; if The DSPs that are hired are unable to give the individuals in service the best care then it is ok because they only strive to provided the best care “possible”. Bravo Renew for picking your motto well because when you fail the individuals it’s ok because you tried.
