It's just not worth it.
Pros
Overtime pay is nice when you get it and you get non-taxed per diem of ~$35 per night out of town. They will pay for all of your training that you can use for a new job. Full benefits, albeit they are expensive and company contribution is limited
Cons
To put it bluntly, the field services side of this company is a complete sh*t show. There is absolutely zero communication between management within the same branch, let alone between separate branches. You will be sent on jobs with no notice and often as you are returning from one you just finished. Many branches rely on "emergency responses" to fulfill full-time hour requirements. If there are no jobs within your branch's jurisdiction you will just be sent to another one for a week or two at a time. Don't expect to be able to spend time at home or have weekends off. Do not expect to ever have a set schedule. You may be required to work upwards of 70 hours in any given week.
