Pros

Clean Harbors is the leader in the field of hazardous waste disposal. They have a huge network and huge capability to do large projects. Advancement is possible, depending on department.

Cons

Too many chiefs, not enough indians. Most people on salary in my department were working 60+ hours per week. But that's the mentality when most of senior management have been divorced 2 or 3 times. Basic equipment needs are not being met. Building I worked in didn't have a decent heating system. Very low raises. Senior management consists of yes-men who do not have college degrees. Corporate offices look immaculate while TSDFs look like dumps.

Pros

Good middle management at SK, but most have moved on.

Cons

Lots of layoffs. CEO is a micro-manager who is too involved in every decision. Roadblocks.
