Pros

Monday - Friday work schedule. Good pay and benefits.

Cons

You work 13 hour days and that's never enough. Everyone is unhappy and overwhelmed at all times. Upper management blames you for everything. It was a horrible experience.

Not a Career just a Job

Pros

Four day work week, pays above minimum wage.

Cons

Temperatures are extreme in the summer, it easily gets above 100 degrees inside. Management reminds you that they can make up any reason to fire you. They say they promote from within but they always hire outside people so you can’t advance because they’ll have to replace you. You have to be friends with management to get ahead. They don’t tell you the incentive system only works if you aren’t moved around, it’s impossible to reach the incentive if you don’t stay in one area. There’s a lot of turnover and people don’t learn the names of new hires unless they’re around for at least a month. There’s no morale at all and they’re spread so thin with customer demand that employees can’t keep up. The machines constantly break down. This plant makes the most money but is the least updated. Anytime you can’t come in without prior approval it’s an unexcused absence, so if you’re sick you’re supposed know in advance to request it off.

Pros

First off, I don't normally do reviews. But wanted to let everyone know what it's like to work for a great company. I'm straight shooter and do tell it like it is. I worked for the federal government/D.C. Government for 17 years. This was a great job, with good pay, good benefits and lots of opportunity. Due to some unfortunate circumstances I decided to move back to my home state and pursue another law enforcement career. Once back in my home state I found out that they do not recognize past law enforcement experience from other agencies. This was heartbreaking and disappointing. Law Enforcement was my life. I actually had a few opportunities in front of me with some agencies, but they wanted me to start from the bottom and that was something I was not interested in. So I decided to pursue another career at 35 years old. Had no idea on what I wanted to do. So I dabble in a few different trades before finding Clean. I was actually working in the gas and oil industry when I found Clean. The crazy thing is I've always enjoyed doing laundry at home and have always done the laundry for my whole family. I was never the type to bounce from job to job. I was looking for a career. I had very high expectations from the beginning with Clean and this company has exceeded all of them. I actually started as a Route Sales Representative my first year. My second year I applied for a management position and got chosen to be a Route Sales Manager. My third year I applied for a management position on the Healthcare side of the business and got chosen for my current position as a Market Development Manager. I like that Clean recognizes good work and promotes from within. Clean is a true family owned company and is the best job that I've had in my life. Excellent pay, excellent benefits, excellent work/home life balance. The culture is family oriented from top to bottom. I have truly found my second career and will retire from Clean one day.

Cons

This is not really con, but like anything else in life. It is what you make it. If you prepare and stay consistent you will excel at Clean guaranteed.

Thank you for the glowing review. CLEAN has always prided itself on promoting within and you're another example of exactly that.
