Pros

Pay was very reasonable, friendly management, and a very laid back atmosphere. Although only about an hour per day was spent in the office, time spent there was enjoyable. The real bulk of the job was spent out on "turf" (in a neighborhood, knocking on people's doors). That aspect of the job varied from fantastic (if you were having a good day and a good week) to soul crushing (on a bad day during a bad week). Your performance is determined by how much you get in donations. There is a weekly standard everyone is expected to make. If you make more, you get a bonus. If you make less to often you get put on review.

Cons

Since you're paid based on performance it can sometimes feel like you're being ripped off. You'll never be paid less than minimum wage, but if you spend more than 40 hours working hard all week and only come out with minimum wage, you feel cheated. Also, it's tough to hang onto the job. If you fall below standard (the amount everyone is expected to get in donations in a week) two weeks in a row you are put on review, which means that you have to make standard or lose your job. The first time, your review only lasts one week. However the second time it is three weeks.

Pros

Positive, and progressive work environment. Co-workers are smart, funny and cool to be around. Relatively straightforward and easy shifts. Educating work, with new campaigns.

Cons

Oftentimes, difficult to hit the nighlty quotas, especially with some of the sales leads given, This can lead to termination pretty rapidly. Managers often times can be somewhat annoying constantly asking 'why your night didn't go so well' Which probably was due to the fact that your call leads had low renewal amounts.
