      Cliffs is an extremely well run and professional company, with a great workplace atmosphere.

      Pros

      The people are friendly and highly intelligent. Management, especially in the executive suite are highly approachable and friendly. The corporate offices are beautiful with tons of daylighting. People are well paid and well taken care of, with great benefits and wellness program. Cliffs emphasizes safety in the workplace and they mean it.

      Cons

      Mining is a cyclical business and workplace morale can sometimes reflect what is happening in the economy at large.

      Pros

      Employee focused and friendly. Leadership is and shows interest in the employees. They do believe in work life balance. Good senior leadership. Compensation is very competitive. Friendly atmosphere at headquarters

      Cons

      Growing pretty fast has caused some employees to feel squeezed out. Still catching up on IT items and technology. There is limited knowledge sharing about what is going on at the mines.
