Pros

On boarding was not bad.

Cons

Worked in express care-Hours were terrible 8,12s rotating shifts week after week. Work you non-stop( no breaks). No autonomy- Management treats you like you don't have a brain. If you attempted to speak up you were ignored or "dismissed". The worst position EVER. If you want to work like robot and be treated like someone without a brain, This is the job for you. I think the people that stay just don't realized there are much better jobs where you are treated like a professional and not just like a number- your ID badge number that you had to document on everything! The place has no personality. If I could rate lower than one I would. And no I'm not a bitter employee. I left on my own-Best decision ever!

Pros

Pay differential after 3pm, from $13 -> $14 per hour. Overtime Available Great benefits- I have the highest insurance options and it's about $100 per paycheck Flexible Schedules PTO

Cons

I've worked here for three months and have to say I do feel like just a number. I understand that the Clinic employs thousands but, the nurse management on my floor needs to treat their nurses and aids as more than just a number. I pick up many shifts for overtime as it is time and a half and there is usually an incentive to pick up more hours but, the clinic often cancels my extra shifts as they do not want to pay the overtime for the position. Breaks are 30 minutes for lunch and you are supposed to get 2 15 minute breaks with a 12 hour shift but, the 15s almost never happen. There is a 2 year requirement per position, meaning you need to stay in the same position for 2 years before they'll let you transfer to a different floor or different position (even for clinical to non-clinical roles).

Pros

Steady Paycheck. Good Health Insurance.

Cons

Clicquish environment, poor management, low raises, lower pay than one would expect in certain areas, long hours, very little encouragement or even training for that matter. They throw you into a job where the employees ignore you, management berates you, the pay sucks, slackers who’ve been there for years act haughty. On top of that the commute isn’t pleasant, parking is atrocious, and personal safety is a big issue. My advice? Keep your head down, don’t make the slackers look bad, suck up to management, and never complain. Otherwise find a job elsewhere.
