      Great Co-workers, poor management

      Pros

      Interesting technology, they make transportation systems that are mostly used in buses. Very friendly and helpful co-workers. Good ability to learn new technology. The new CEO seems to be honestly interested in changing the culture of this company.

      Cons

      High turnover, no raises, pay is average. Management seems to have a very low opinion of the people in the engineering group. People are getting fired all the time. A common thing your hear "Who has to get fired for this job to get done" The founder of this company (who fortunately in no longer there) was known for throwing chairs at employees during meetings.

      Competitive salary. Diverse workforce.

      Cons

      Lack of direction and communication added a lot of stress and adversely affected efficiency.

      Exhausting and frustrating

      Pros

      Coworkers are usually good people

      Cons

      Everyone has the work load of 3 people. There's huge amounts of disorganization and lack of communication. Most projects seem to be scheduled without consideration for current workload demands. And in the best of circumstances, scheduled with half the time required to actually do the work. Getting things you need is always a battle. IT is a pain. Websites are blocked. You're at the whim of your customers and upper management. You're always months behind schedule and it's always getting worse. Constantly looking for more corners to cut.
