Pros

ClickUp is the first place I've worked who's Core Values makes sense. What's more, they're the first team I've seen where the Values actually matter. Most companies' Values are just words they say to give them an altruistic angle. ClickUp actually applies what they preach, and it creates a fantastic work environment with coworkers and leaders that actually want to help you grow and progress. There's always work to be done, and the team is filled with people that work hard. If you're not here to make a difference, then not only will that become very apparent very quickly, but you may want to find somewhere else to take it easy.

Cons

Unless you've got a very apparent disability, there's not a lot of understanding for extenuating circumstances that may affect your work. There's also no eye insurance for employees outside of California.

Pros

Team - If there's one thing that can be said about ClickUp, it's that every person here genuinely cares about one another. This stands true across all levels and all departments - everyone truly wants the best for one another and goes out of their way to make each person feels heard and valued. No one feels out of reach or intimidating to approach. I've never worked for a company that makes such an immeasurable effort to show each individual they care about them as a person first, and an employee second. When an employee is facing personal hardship, team members, management, executives, everyone goes out of their way to reach out, offer help, and encourage that person to put themselves first. Growth - There is SO much opportunity to learn, grow in your career, and be the absolute best version of yourself! I was able to come into this company with a hospitality background, learn from the ground up, and grow into another role within 6 months. I'm far from the anomaly in this because the team loves to promote from within. Culture - Everyone here works so hard because we all believe not only in what we're building, but the exciting culture that has been created here. If you care about self-development, diversity and inclusivity, hard work that pays off, and having so much fun in the process, there really is no better place to call home.

Cons

The standard startup overtime hours mentioned by other reviewers are no longer applicable for the Support team. As the team has grown significantly, they've shifted away from the need to work extensive hours. Management listened to their team members and prioritized employee work-life balance to eliminate mandatory overtime within the Support department, even at the slight sacrifice of the best customer experience. There is always room for growth and improvement, particularly in a startup environment, but there's something to be said about a company that makes every effort to take direct feedback, adapt, and pivot based on what's best for its employees. This is a team that not only welcomes feedback, but encourages it so that they can create the best and most healthy work environment for every single person here.
