      Pros

      Here are some of the things I have loved about working at ClickUp: - The people are awesome to work with and overall the culture is great. It is a very open and inclusive environment. Everyone is helpful, kind, and out-going - ClickUp is very transparent about how the company is doing. Every single employee is able to see the health of the company and understand how we are doing overall. - The leadership are all 110% invested in the company (helps that the CEO has put a lot of his own money into it) and care deeply about the employees. If you work hard you get rewarded appropriately. - You are given a lot of freedom and autonomy in how you work, they trust you to get your stuff done. - Everyone's voice is valued and listened to

      Cons

      Like any early-stage startup, there is a TON of stuff to get done so the workload is not light. If you are expecting a normal 9-5 job right now then this might not be the place for you. There is also a ton of information to get caught up on for new employees and since we move so quickly it can feel a little overwhelming at first. The onboarding process is very structured and supportive though which was extremely helpful.

      Micromanagement and toxic positivity

      Pros

      at first, I liked the feeling of community, albeit one that quickly proved itself to be fake. The benefits were also pretty solid.

      Cons

      They had also begun micromanaging to a level of extremity that made it miserable to work there. They used Tableu and other software to track your every movement, how long it took for you to complete each ticket, spaces between tickets, and so much more — it felt like you couldn’t breathe. We had more supervision than a toddler playing with pointy objects.

      It's remote. The people I worked with were the most incredible coworkers I've ever had.

      Cons

      Zero job security. Mass layoffs ~once a year. The CEO needs to let someone else run the company.
