      Interesting company, however misguided and underpaid throughout

      Pros

      Energetic start-up, SD office is in a great location, most of the people who work here are cool and kind

      Cons

      Pay is far below market, people are overworked/rarely recognized, everyone is an IC so there isn't much alignment, very few people have the attention of voices who can make change so a lot of the teams are misguided / missions are ALWAYS changing and they try to make new product releases elusive so even employees don't find out about them until they day-of and customers/etc. are VERY frustrated by this practice.

      Pros

      ClickUp is a really innovative product and an exciting company to work at. There are definitely aspects of "building the plane as you're flying it", but it also gives a lot of opportunity to try new things and learn a lot along the way.

      Cons

      You need to be willing to work in a fast-paced environment and put in the extra elbow grease to find success here. Those at the top get rewarded well with equity and recognition.
