Hyper growth startup mode

Pros

Each day is an adventure, I've worked at 2 startups and 1 larger enterprise company before working at clickup, there's frankly nothing like this that I've experienced. Everyone on the team is obsessed with what we are creating, and with the hyper growth that goes along with that. Instead of being pigeonholed into one particular area, I've been able to get my hands in technical work as well as work with users directly. Zeb and the team all push 'growth' as the most important core value and I can say first hand, that's exactly what I've got by working here.

Cons

There's never a shortage of work to be found. I love that environment and style, but some people don't.

Great place to work

Pros

ClickUp is truly an incredible place to work. Their core values are no joke, and present everywhere within the company, from product to people to strategy. I can honestly say that I enjoy working with every member on my team, and have never had an interaction with another department that wasn't enjoyable. For me, enjoyable means fun, informative, efficient. I am also very aware that my managers are fully invested in my growth. They not only motivate me to perform past my best, but they provide the resources and direction to do so. Additionally, I love the product itself. It is accessible to anyone who wants to improve their standards of efficiency.

Cons

If there are any cons, I don't believe they are brought on by the company. I bring my whole self into my work, so sometimes it feels like there aren't enough hours in the day to accomplish what I set to do. There are optional OT hours, but I recognize that my "to-do" list is never going to end so it is very important to keep boundaries with work hours.

Pros

ClickUp is one of few organizations I've seen that genuinely lives it's core values and has been a fantastic place to work so far. The product is great to provide support for, and I'm amazed every week at what our development team is able to deliver on for new features. The company is full of talented, passionate people and the potential of where we can go seems endless. It's easy to begin getting involved in projects outside of your core responsibilities, and the potential for rapid growth is there.

Cons

The standards are high and the work can be demanding at times, but hard work does not go unrecognized or unrewarded.

Pros

I couldn't be happier about my choice to work at ClickUp. When I came across the job posting, I literally got so excited about working at ClickUp and knew that it was the right job for me. Here are some of the things that solidify that working here was the right choice. Major pros: - It is a company that lives by their core values - Team leadership is very hands-on in helping educate (I even got constructive feedback during my interview that shed light into the kind of coaching/teaching I would get as an employee) - Really tight-knit team culture; I genuinely feel like my team has my back - Excellent response to COVID and remote work, watching the onboarding process makes me feel good about the longevity of the company - Committed to helping you succeed with frequent 1 on 1 meetings with team leadership - Clear path towards growth and success - I know that I can achieve and move into a management position instead of that potential just being dangled in front of me as an unachievable carrot to reach for - Freedom to try new things in different areas of the business - Internal transparency about how the company is growing - Management is clearly learning and adding benefits and initiatives to increase employee happiness and retention.

Cons

The learning curve for the platform can be intense. Because it is ever-changing (new features shipping weekly), there are always things to learn. This will never be something you fully master, so if you're looking for a job where you can eventually go on auto-pilot, this is not the job for you. No 401k (yet), but you can earn equity in the company.

Pros

ClickUp is the first place I've worked who's Core Values makes sense. What's more, they're the first team I've seen where the Values actually matter. Most companies' Values are just words they say to give them an altruistic angle. ClickUp actually applies what they preach, and it creates a fantastic work environment with coworkers and leaders that actually want to help you grow and progress. There's always work to be done, and the team is filled with people that work hard. If you're not here to make a difference, then not only will that become very apparent very quickly, but you may want to find somewhere else to take it easy.

Cons

Unless you've got a very apparent disability, there's not a lot of understanding for extenuating circumstances that may affect your work. There's also no eye insurance for employees outside of California.
