Pros

You can have flexible hours, you can stay in your area, though sometimes they give you lousy leads too far away.

Cons

Some leads are just not good, sometimes the addresses are even wrong. The people manning the phones can be great or can be idiots, who play favorites.

Pros

The job provided an opportunity to get to know the business of closet manufacturing and installation.

Cons

The high turnover rate in both office staff and designers seemed to cause a lot of disorganization, stress, and unhappy customers. Designers with no prior experience didn't seem to get enough training. Background checks weren't performed on others. Clients with large orders were pushed to the front of the install list, while less lucrative contracts were left waiting. Overtime and skipped lunch breaks were expected on an almost daily basis without pay. At one point a manager slammed a door in my face after requesting I step inside the office.

Pros

If they like you, you'll get quality leads

Cons

Sink or swim mentality of sales, commission only, favoritism for certain designers
