Fantastic place to work - any position

Pros

Thorough training and follow up, you are well supported by trainers, management, and your staff. They truly go above and beyond to make you feel supported. The company also offers serious perks to encourage hard work and continued education. If you are going to work in a restaurant (even for a few months) work at Clyde's.

Cons

As a server, I face the unavoidable problems all servers do, sometimes the work is very long and the pay varies day to day. However, the management does a great job of addressing the downfalls - 1) the scheduling manager makes sure I get a full day's break every few days 2) if it's especially slow (e.g. a snow day where few customers come in) the management bought me lunch.

- Fun staff - Awesome staff meals

Cons

- The managers had impossible demands sometimes. I worked at the Georgetown location, and it was always packed on the weekends. We had a "nobody leaves without joining the wait list or getting seated" policy, which was pretty hard to maintain at times.

Clyde's group really knows how to run a good restaurant. I worked at 2 of their locations, and they consistently treat their employees and customers well, and their restaurants are very successful.
