Clydes is a very well-established restaurant group. The training provided is quite helpful, management is supportive and the opportunity to make money falls into your hands.

Cons

The environment can be stressful, but that usually comes hand-in-hand with a popular restaurant chain.

Pros

The pay is good. There is a lot of diversity within the staff. It is metro accessible. You meet a wide variety of customers also.

Cons

Most managers don't know what they're doing. Most employees and managers are very unprofessional after hours. A lot of managers have "favorites" and give certain servers better table sections.

Pros

Restaurants are always busy, customers always tip well because the company allows you to do anything you want to placate a dissatisfied customer. Other employees are generally young and congenial. Management is management. Very easy to get time off, especially since others are always willing to cover and make a few extra dollars.

Cons

Not intellectually stimulating, but what do you expect? It's a college job to make a few extra dollars. Not enough income to live but for a two year gig as an undergraduate it's hard to beat.
