Pros

I enjoyed the extensive training and interacting with customers. They was also very supportive when I were ill and did everything they could to help me.

Cons

Some customers could be very difficult and sometimes got abusive when asked for ID. Checkout work could also be rather repetitive

Pros

Flexible shifts. Overtime regularly available.

Cons

Poor pay. Some staff (especially younger members) put under pressure to cover extra shifts.

Pros

Plenty of overtime available in the store I worked at. Although that may have been as a result of poor management over the hours people were contracted to work leaving big holes for people to cover.

Cons

The managers are consistently people who must realise how uninspiring their jobs are and so have an authority complex making for an unfriendly and inefficient work place.
