Pros

I love the co-op because everybody I work with is lovely, I like where the co-op is (it's local to me so I know a lot of the customers) and the management are reasonable.

Cons

Sometimes it can be under staffed (evening shifts) and it's difficult to complete all jobs efficiently but then again this cannot always be helped as it is not possible to always predict when it will be busy.

I have made great friends here and enjoy working with them which makes it worthwhile, I get on wit the managers and overall we have a great laugh. Shifts fit around my homelife.

Cons

Not many perks for working bank holidays etc (no extra pay or time in lieu that cant be taken). have more responsbility than I am paid for, no opportunity for development.

I have a disability and they make sure I only work what I am capable of i.e. checkout and light stock.

Cons

Our store is a small supermarket and does not have all the staff needed to run it fairly.
