Workflows constantly changing and the day-to-day was mind-numbing. Whatever side of the bed Andy woke up on was what we were focusing on that week. KPIs showed steady improvement, but the execs were never happy. The biggest issues were the cross-departmental workloads. Our department never seemed to have enough work to go around, but upper-management made it our fault for not meeting their goals. Meanwhile, all the work was bottlenecking in the departments in the workflow ahead of us. Video editors were the last stop before publishing, but we were blamed for the entire process being slowed down.
