Poor training, unsafe and unrealistic expectations
Pros
Company vehicle (if/when you receive it)
Cons
- Training is superficial and overly brief, especially for lead hunting and status verification projects. New hires are sent into the field without enough practical guidance. - I often had to troubleshoot broken systems in my car between shoots, including repeated app failures that prevented drone photos from being submitted. - When my company vehicle wasn't delivered on time, I had to use my own car with no mileage reimbursement. - Expectations to edit from my car were unsafe — i.e. a stranger opened my door while I was parked on the street. - The “residential photography” role involves minimal photography. It’s mostly Matterport scanning, occasional drone work and lead hunting. Also, you're essentially penalized if you don't find leads, even if there are none in your designated grid.
