Pros
It feels like a team, almost a family. We are given plenty of autonomy and there’s a belief that we are all professionals and know our roles. Management is caring and you know where you stand, and our managers definitely look out for our employees. We work on fun projects and high profile events... I have already gotten a good friend hired on and a couple more work as contract labor for events. I wouldn’t have my friends come in if I didn’t believe in the company.
Cons
Event work is tough, and requires time and discipline. I grew up in the event world so I knew what to expect. There are times that the pressure cooker really heats up, so be aware going in.
