      Pros

      Coffman is an excellent work environment. I am coming out of college and they have treated me with the upmost respect as well as valuing the skills I have. They are also very helpful in teaching me the new things I needed to learn. My family and other mentors are consistently impressed with the company when I tell them about how their management operates and the level of care they give to each employee.

      Coffman Engineers, 5 Year Review

      Pros

      Been with the company for almost 5 years where I have been able to continually grow and take on larger projects with more and more responsibility. I have been able to work on many different aspects of Electrical Engineering and I learn something new every single day. Plenty of room for growth in the company if you work hard. Hard work is rewarded and noticed by management.

      Cons

      Pay is lower than comparable positions in the industry here in Alaska.

      Thanks for the advice. We are currently updating out review process and add more structure to it as you have suggested. We do try to keep the raise discussion separate from the review. They are connected, but our review process doesn't necessarily coincide with the timing of salary adjustments. You can certainly ask your manager to chart out your next career steps during the review (which could include compensation goals). All the best. Dave Ruff - CEO.
