I've been working at Cognex for more than two years as SW engineer. The tasks highly rely on actual project ranging from maintaining >10 yr old C code to working with latest technologies on new projects. The work environment and general atmosphere are both good.

Cons

As a big company, adaptation of new technologies is slow. In general, Cognex tends to follow industry trends rather than leading
