Cognex’s training program is a disorganized mess and a career dead-end. They axe many recent grads within the first year, showing zero commitment to employee development. Management is clueless about the company’s direction and takes out their incompetence on staff. The “competitive” salary is a sham—only one or two young salespeople ever meet their quotas. If you’re looking for a serious career start, steer clear. The training program’s perks are a joke, much like the company’s leadership

Lots of benefits, competent base sallary, many ways of genersting income, awesome perks and offices. Lots of independence

Cons

Lots of pressure to sell, lots of hours driving, needs to have own car, not a lot of grwth opportunity.

I got along with my coworkers

Cons

Laid off from Cognex with no prior notice, manager was very inconsiderate and rude, HR took forever to respond about unemployment benefits. Also they paid very little and was micro-managed a lot. Their stock price is only going down.
