Pros

1. Decent amount of hike. 2. Good growth opportunities if we have a good rapport with the project managers. 3. No fixed timings and few projects don't require 9 hrs clock in . If you are staying for a long term in Cognizant , then it is not required. 4. Good organization to work for women employees. 5. Most of the projects are not hectic in testing . Again , it entirely depends on the project that we get to work . 6. Good onsite opportunities for associates who know to butter their supervisors/ managers.

Cons

Cognizant has now introduced minimum clock in time (9hrs). It is mainly for lay off and a reason to award minimum rating . Performance testing managers are too biased for employees who are close to them . Especially for people who literally fall under their managers for onsite . They have initiated H1b this year for people who are new to the technology, people who shifted from different technology, junior employees when senior resource have been waiting for onsite for a long time . Performance testing technology in particular is very bad for promotions and onsite .(Only people who are close are awarded) No recognition for employees who have performed well or experienced people . Laterals please think before joining if you are looking for onsites and promotions.
